What is Renewed?

The term 'Renewed', also known as 'refurbished', is used by us to indicate that an item is fully operational and can still be deployed. However, there are various levels (grades) to distinguish.

For A-Grade Renewed:
An A-grade renewed product can be considered as a perfect-functioning product which means it is fully functional and far from being written off. Therefore, we also offer a 24-month warranty on these products.

For B-Grade Renewed:
A B-grade renewed product can be considered as a well-functioning product which means it is fully functional but has been used for a while yet not written off. Therefore, we also offer a 12-month warranty on these products.

Renewed vs New?

There are different ways in which a product can be used. A hard disk can be running continuously 24/7 but can also be used once a week to make a backup. 

What brand do I get:
We only sell renewed hardware from renowned manufacturers. We classify the hardware based on its condition, which can then lead to an A, B or even a C grade. We apply the same condition criteria for manufacturer X, Y or Z. A batch of renewed hardware can therefore consist of different brands that all meet the specifications on the product page.

When to choose new:
If you plan to use an item to its full potential and you think you need more warranty than the 12 or 24 months offered on a renewed item.

When to opt for an A or B grade renewed:
If you use an item only occasionally, then it's cheaper, smarter, and more environmentally friendly to purchase a renewed item.
