The Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2 is an excellent NVR to store the security images from IP cameras. The 8-channel recorder with PoE has space for two 8TB hard drives and offers the option of watching video recordings live or reviewing them via a PC, smartphone or tablet.
With the 8-channel Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2 you have a recorder for storing, viewing and replaying Hikvision IP camera images. Connect the NVR to your network and add up to 8 Hikvision or other brands of cameras to the recorder.
Sufficient storage capacity
You can store hours of footage in high 8MP resolution on the Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2. The NVR supports two hard drives with 8TB storage capacity each. In addition, the recorder applies H.265+ image compression, which means that video data is saved without loss of quality, although reduced in size.
View images live and afterwards
You can view the camera images of your connected IP cameras live via the Hikvision software or via the Hik-Connect app for Android and iOS. This way you can easily monitor, also on your tablet or smartphone. But if something suspicious has happened, you want to be able to view the recordings. The Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2 therefore offers the possibility to review the camera images of eight channels simultaneously.
Alarms possible
Hikvision cameras from the EasyIP 3.0 series support, among other things, line crossing technology and detect when luggage is left behind. If you connect such a Hikvision IP camera to the Hikvision recorder, you can set your recorder to send you a push notification when someone, for example, passes a set line. This way you can watch live with the camera images in the Hik-Connect app.
