Pay Attention: All of CalDigit’s docks are fully compatible with the new M1-based Macs including the ability to charge a laptop and more. However, the only limitation is that the new M1-based Macs cannot support dual “Extended” displays through their Thunderbolt 3 ports. This means that when using any dock, users cannot extend their desktop over two displays, and will be limited to either dual “Mirrored” displays or 1 external display depending on the dock.
As more and more of us are working in multi-workflow environments with various Type-C laptops and tablets, we need a dock that will adapt to our specific needs.
CalDigit has solved this challenge and developed the USB-C HDMI Dock, a device that will adapt to any USB-C (Type-C) laptop it connects to. When connected to a Thunderbolt 3 laptop it offers full 40Gb/s performance, and when connected to a USB-C laptop it provides 10Gb/s performance in order to supply exactly what your laptop requires.

Fast laptop charging up to 94W
The USB-C HDMI Dock offers up to 94W laptop charging. This makes it an ideal solution for larger laptops such as the 16 MacBook Pro. Whether you’re connected to a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB-C laptop, the USB-C HDMI Dock will charge your laptop up to 94W.
Dual HDMI connectivity
The USB-C HDMI Dock has two built-in HDMI 2.0b connectors for directly connecting dual 4K 60Hz monitors in either “Extended” or “Mirrored” configurations to your Thunderbolt 3 laptop without the need for any USB-C video adapters. Apple M1 laptops can connect to a single external monitor, allowing you to expand your laptop’s built-in screen to one external “Extended” monitor.
USB-C users can connect up to a single 4K 30Hz monitor, or up to dual 2K 30Hz monitors depending on the configuration, bandwidth, and DisplayPort version of their computer.
UHS-II card reader
Save time and work efficiently with the USB-C HDMI Dock’s built-in SD 4.0 UHS-II Card Reader. Transfer hundreds of large files quickly and easily.
USB-C and USB-A
The front-facing USB-C 10Gb/s port offers double the performance, and is ideal for connecting ultra-fast SSD storage devices. The remaining 3x USB-A 5Gb/s are great for adding various USB devices to the USB-C HDMI Dock.
Audio
The convenient front-facing combo Audio port allows users to easily to connect headphones or speakers.
