With the TR-002 RAID expansion enclosure with USB 3.1 Gen.2 connection, you can expand the capacity of your NAS from QNAP and your PC. The TR-002 can also be used as a direct-attached storage (DAS) device so that you can access the content directly by simply connecting the device via USB. The TR-002 is equipped with two 3.5-inch SATA drive slots with USB 3.1 Gen. 2 Type C connection for an extremely reliable and safe solution for expanding capacity.

The TR-002 is an ideal solution for expanding storage for PCs, especially for laptops where higher capacity drives cannot be installed. The TR-002 is equipped with two 3.5-inch SATA drive slots and supports RAID configuration. The device thus offers the possibility of storing a huge amount of files and data and it offers protection against possible disk errors.
- USB 3.1 Gen. 2 port (Type C) for faster data transfer.
- Supports a maximum of two SATA drives.
- DIP switch for disk mode, intended to switch between hardware or software control of configurations and setting up RAID groups.
- Lockable hard drives to prevent accidental removal of drive.
- Eject button for disconnecting the TR-002 from a NAS or computer.
- Make backup copies directly from the TR-002 to the NAS using the one-tap copy button. **(Requires a NAS from QNAP with "One-tap Copy" in external disk mode. This feature will be supported from the second quarter of 2019.)
